Goodbye fingerpaints, you have served us well.

I purchased these Crayola Fingerpaints on clearance nearly 2 years ago and Zara has used them many, many times. I am actually surprised at how long these little bottles lasted. Here is a super cute video of Zara at 21 months using the fingerpaints.


We manged to squirt out the last drops, complete with sound effects, much to Zara's enjoyment. Sometimes Zara prefers not to get her hands messy, thus she chose a little foam brush to use this time.


I've tried making fingerpaint with liquid starch and tempera paint, but it was really runny. Anyone have a good recipe for homemade fingerpaint or should I think about buying some more?
Zara is not as into fingerpaints vs. tempera paints and watercolors, but Zoey will be at that stage not too long from now.
