Art in Autumn Colors

All our reading and discussion about Fall sparked Zara creative side. She chose Fall colors when daddy got out paint for her on Sunday morning (yay daddy, I sure enjoyed sleeping in!) This is a "huge leaf pile and some pumpkins" (see the orangish blobs on the left).
Then she got a bit sponge happy, aren't sponges just so cool?
When we get out paints we generally let them stay out until the paint is used up, so Monday Zara wanted to paint again. I thought this would be a good opportunity to do marble painting again. Zara had a blast and was much more able to work on her own than she was 6 months ago when we did this project. I gave her a few different types of paper a shoe box, some marbles, a spoon to transfer (she doesn't like to be too messy) and a bowl to hold the used marbles.
Here are some of the finished paintings:
What happens when you put in lots of marbles at one time?
"A scramble!" Gotta love the creative terms of a 3-year-old!
