Ocean In A Jar

Another awesome Ocean themed activity thought up by my cool friend Casandra.
All you need is a mason Jar with lid, some sand, small shells and/or rocks, a background picture to tape to the outside of the jar(we used a fish/aquarium picture printed from the web), and some water.


All the girls really enjoyed creating their Oceans, we let them pour the sand, place some shells and rocks, and pour the water.




I didn't get any pictures of the finished Ocean jars, however the kids were thrilled with them. Zara's Ocean now has a place of honor next to her reading lamp in her bedroom!
